anguished

i left our home late one night, passed locked doors and cars in drives
the rain would follow me afar
as im left thinking of where you are
now you are sleeping, as im driving away
i feel your lips on mine, and the warmth inside your eyes
we had our mind on time
with pressed cheeks and tears intertwined
now you are sleeping, and im driving away
i left our home late one night, when i should lose myself in you
my hearts been tied with a cord
at least my soul now knows what its for
now you are sleeping, and im driving away

Painful piece of reality, separation,no reasons just driving away, releasing your soul and bringing clarity yet still the feelings left behind, well written |
