This mundane tangle of blades
may cut the soul, bleed the part
that makes us whole, see the signs
that turn us cold and hide the
prophesy to someday unfold. We are
not the kings of old, chosing wisdom
over riches, we just want to sew the
stitches of freedom, free will is a
gift we share, a pain to secure our
destiny unfair, for when does man
chose a path to righteousness
over power, greed, and the things
they breed, they will burn us,
scorch the sky, and we will always
beg to die, before we change the way
we lie, the way we cry, the kind of
dry water molded for the potter.
Molded for a potter without clay.

Hi,
This is so rich in rhyme and rhythm - and unique in
the way you crafted it.
Liquid fodder for the potter's wheel - is there hope
for us?

Gosh...the flow of this was just amazing.
You ask some very pertinent and real
questions in this. If only we would all
do the same
Fantastic job and thank you for sharing.
May He mold you and hold you.
Be well,
~Loende |
