selfstruggles

It would be easier to fly off into space,
defying the earth's gravity,
than to escape the day to day magnet of schedule
I'd rather sleep, but I wake,
i'd rather smile, but I frown,
i'd rather laugh, but I am silent,
i'd rather complain, but I just go along
Last night I had so many dreams,
hopes,
expectations,
of people and myself.
It hurts to be disappointed,
but you're not even entitled to pain
when you disappoint yourself
Today,
is just the tip of the iceberg.
Every day I take a longer peak into the Pandora's box that is adulthood,
and every day I see more but it is less.
its supposed to be…
Every day I am bound by a heavier chain,
every day yesterday seems less real,
every day tomorrow seems more me
just shut your eves for now…
they're not my problems after all…
they're tomorrow's blight…
for the coming me to tackle…
he'll know what to do…
Wait,
I've heard that before… yesterday…

Coming undone leaving actions taking the opposite direction of what we intend. The harder path sometimes has truth waiting yet whats easy presents itself in better form. Your words full of pain have so much to offer and your emotions are felt. well written
take care

Felt a modicum lacking...In what, I can't say, but it felt as if there was a point to be desired. |
