Anne Frank
I'm alone,
In this world I have no hope,
I build up walls,
They surround my heart,
I accept pain,
It's actually good company,
I keep emotions to myself,
Though I write everyday,
My emotions I share,
If poetry is there,
I doubt anyone cares,
But still I write daily,
It's a sad excuse,
Like Anne Frank,
It's a record of my life.
Oh how I love her diary,
How her boring life was published,
She never knew it,
But still she wrote down her thoughts,
Her own entertainment,
Now it's our book,
It teaches of war,
How the people that died,
Really were alive.
I have this silly hope,
That one day,
My diaries of poems,
Will be of some use,
And be used as proof,
That once I had lived.
