The Rush of Water

Contributed by lothas on Sunday, 11th April 2010 @ 06:25:05 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

The rush of the water
Flowing into the openness
Hear my heart beat as one
Help me
Hear me

The sunlight pierces the leaves
The mountains are here
Tress hold truths just look for them
Peace is in the woods
Smell that mountain air

Feel the cool, crisp air
Hold you loved one close to you
Hold your soul too
The nature flows like blood through my veins
Kiss the air… if you can

Buddhism is helpful just live
Look inward not outward for the answers to burning questions
Turn on the light
Be still with yourself
Hear the inner you

Be at one with you soul
Hear me… listen to you

Forgive and don’t forget or better yet come to terms with what happens to each of us, sooner or later. Close you eyes and listen to the music of time. Remember to be at one with yourself.

Peace with one
Peace with a whole
Peace with a few
Peace with you
Peace always

Sit and be
Sit and hear
Sit and look
Sit and sit with yourself
Turn and walk

Never turn back and look
Always look inward then outward
Be at one with us
Be at one with her
Be at one with you soul and oneness

Remember to love and be loved
Practice goodness
Practice the way of life
Practice and practice to get it
Get what?

I wish I could follow this as a mantra. Unfortunately I suffer from depression and much of my poetry reflects this but your work has given me hope that there is a way to inner peace. Thank you. Aliopterix.
