Why is life circled with pain?

And why do I keep fighting in vein.

Im Sisyphus with my rock.

A Sheppard working without a flock.

Yet I keep pushing forward,

Respectfully,

And tact.

Even when I know loosing is a fact.

Its my temperament it seems,

That lets me push on beyond my dreams.

And eventually you will get to them if you try.

For no one can tell you to give up and die.

So keep pushing your rock,

And keeping looking for your flock.

For one day you may be in for a shock.
