We are but pieces-- p a w n s
Placed strategically on a game board.
Many of these pieces missing,
Lost,
Replaced with generic, improvising--Knockoffs.
In this never-ending game of chance,
Where pieces fall, never to be seen again--
I
stand
my
ground!
Refusing to be replaced so easily.

Power to you! Thought-provoking structure; I like it. Well done, and stand strong. |
