My Fallen Angel

Contributed by Loveligirl92 on Thursday, 8th April 2010 @ 04:11:57 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

You passed away too young.
The sweetest and kindest
the worlds has ever known.
You are my angel,
I have so much love left over for you

I often need to blink with my eyes.
To see if it is true.
People can not even be aware
of how much I struggle
from the loss of you.

If I just could do one thing,
have one desire fulfilled
I would turn back time
laughed with you and be reminded of
the beautiful, amazing person you were,
the unforgettable, perfect that you are

Even though I want to be reminded of you
I don't really need to.
Because the memories will always be
the very most important part of me

Take care little bee

We often lose people way before the time they should depart, a tragedy that is always painful and hard to bear.
The spark of hope in what you have written here though is the fact that you say you still have your memories.
Memories can still keep someone alive, if only in our minds.

I can feel the emotion in this poem. It's wonderful and I can only barely imagine the feeling of a losing someone like this
