They commit you to flames. And so you ash. As if you never existed, gone in a flash.
But for someone who was larger then life. There’s not enough of you to fit in a glass. Or no one to care that you even passed.
Only a sigh of relief that this day was your last. For they won"t remember the life you claimed as vast. The existence in which you believed you were caste.
They’ll only regret that your end wasn’t fast. And having to endure a life you marked with a cavernous gash. Yet we wonder how we’ll live in contrast.
To a history that never stays in the past. For we can never forget the turmoil you forced us to endure before your body breathed it’s last.
