Verse 1
You know it rains every good Friday
Why go they call it good Friday?
Why don’t they just call it good easter Sunday?
You know what I mean? You don’t know what I mean
Chorus
And we live our day to day lives
Without stopping to smell the roses,
Without thinking twice.
There should be at least 10,000 people on earth
Who know what I mean.
You don’t know what I mean
Verse 2
Why do them grandparents?
When my mother don’t think you’re too grand
Why do the clouds look like marshmallows?
And the waves never leave the sand?
You know what I mean? You don’t know what I mean
Chorus
And we live our day to day lives
Without stopping to smell the roses,
Without thinking twice.
There should be at least 10,000 people on earth
Who know what I mean.
You don’t know what I mean
But…
If we lived our day to day lives
Stopped to smell the roses,
And began to think twice,
There would be at least 10,000 people on earth
Who know what I mean…
Now you know what I mean…
