Lurking Shadows, Tired Mind

The back of my mind,
Lurking, Creeping,
These shadows be seeking,
To make me do,
Unthinkable things.

Then, Blinding.
Light in the shadows,
Like a beacon shining bright.

Held my hands down,
Stopped my shaking.
And calmed my crazed mind.
