Piano Abuse

Sing and play,
On these broken piano keys.
The saddest of melodies.
Loud and off key,
Notes wavering, and uneven.
Voice quivering,
Fingers cracked and bleeding.
But I hope you know--
I sing for thee'.
As I'm forced to play for eternity.

I loved this poem. You show how much dedication and effort it takes to play. Also, you show how piano playing is for life. Very nicely written.
