SAVE OUR LOVE

In my heart you know that it is true
There is a place for me and you
I think that we should talk it through
To try and save our love

I know deep down that you feel the same
But we argue time and again
One gets hurt and the other feels the pain
We'll try and save our love

I know you haven't been yourself of late
You've been too uptight
I know that times haven't been that great
But we can change all that tonight

I miss your voice, I miss your touch
I miss your smile so very much
My love is so strong it is such
That I'll try and save our love

Remember all those happy days?
And all the fun we had?
Remember when we'd laugh at the funny things we'd say?
Has it really been all that bad?

All this has become such an awful mess
Our love has come to an end, I guess
Maybe it will be for the best
We could not save our love...

Oh how very sad Chris, when love must end.
I wonder if it's because we don't start out as a friend? To get to know one another alot better, without becoming emotionally involved around the heart.
