The Leech

For insane reasons, my heart turned to a deadly leech;
Eating my body inside out without letting me screech.

I know I should throw my heart out away to live;
Instead I threw my senses with a heave..!

Madness in me made my judgment deaf,
Would you please shut up and make this brief?

Trusting your love was a mistake I did;
Learnt a lesson and, You, I forbid..!!

I know I don’t have much time to grief;
For the leech is growing deeper and deep.

Regret is not the word I preach,
For I danced, I laughed and I lived.
