The Grim Reaper
Sometimes creeping
Undetected,
Sometimes leaping
Unexpected,
Death comes sneaking,
Undeflected,
Grimly reaping,.
Then it’s curtains, au revoir,
Gone to join the heavenly choir,
Belly up, bucket kicked -
Affairs in order, coffin picked?
Shuffled off the mortal coil,
End of story –
‘Goodbye all!’

What a delightful review of the "end". It's nice to see a different take on the final bow. :) Wonderfully written with exceptional rhyme and metre. The flow is perfection! Great post!

Hi,
A terrific rendition on dark humour.
'Death, where is thy sting?'
