Lights go out,
turn on the fan,
salt runs down my skin,
sweat or tears, I do not know
does it matter?
I think not.
after all only god knows that these tears
are not what they should
The sacrifice lies down,
while the executioner pretends to be serene,
when inside,
he sweats and cries,
I swore id never do this,
but tonight I swore I would.
My thoughts surrender
and melt away,
asphalt of my agony
not quite yet
but soon enough
Maybe some light would be fine
after all
I don’t want to hurt myself by accident
yeah, how I wish I could
enough with the talk already
enough with the thought,
open,
pull,
open,
freeze.
The blade reflects bright moonlight
angry silence envelops me, frustrated
humanity at its finest
ah! but yet again I digress!
A Liar
a silenced whimper
a slash
Again,
and again and again and again.
A tear runs down my cheek,
Hushing snivels and frustration,
Taking then down, down,
Into the blighted, fiery maelstrom of broken hopes and dark promises fulfilled

It's hard to understand the reasons of someone who describes what they do in such negative terms. Many people suffer without turning to a knife to solve their problems, after all. Seems like it's probably not the smartest thing one could do... |
