(sitting on some steps with some people chatting on my right)
i like to smoke while i write
cellphone screen
distraction fiend
humanity on my right
(Sitting in english class)
art died
my art teacher lied
they thought it would set the pace
for the human race
a noble invention
really just psycho extension
(watching theater customers pass by)
My world is quite the contraption
free thought can stand
in a world without a strand
the righteous will be the last faction
(listening to an alcoholic talk to an evangelical)
Where i wanna be
Higher power higher power
where have you gone
higher power high power
make sure to forgive your fawn
im a sinner really
I tried but it is my nature
I must be gone
I love you telling me
what to be
and how not to be it
maybe i should be you
so i can call it how i see it
if i am me i will never leave this
i may not be right
but i believe in justice
(corporations at close)
I stare at the bright lights and high ceilings
my arms flail in vague frights
fabricated aesthetic in my brain
patterned carpet all the same
