Summer Love

Contributed by Fuzzy on Monday, 29th March 2010 @ 11:09:50 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

Deep blue sea,a fairground ride
golden sand, dreams of fantasy
land, Summer breeze, Kiss my
lovers face, Skies above so full
of summer love, Love me always
will, you be True, Promise now
never make me blue, lick ice
cream, from my lovers lips, then
turn to steal a Kiss ,sail out on
lovers boat, ride the waves ,to a
lovers Cave, lay with you in my
arms, give you sea-shells, your
lucky charms, passionate Kiss
Summer bliss, be my Sweetheart
forever more, time now, sunset
calls, sail back to the summer shore
say, goodnight, under the fairground
lights, Sleep well my love, for in
the morning , your Train, take you
back home, end of summer love
now just me left, all alone, under
The Fairground lights.

Seems, so long ago now, since that summer love, has past
You never knew, you were my first summer love, and, my Last

Tenderly written Fuzzy.

"Deep blue sea,a fairground ride golden sand, dreams of fantasy land,"

Those precious sea-shells given with such an open, honest and loving heart..... so reminiscently romantic, even in it''s moment of lament x

Just beautiful.......

Then turn to steal a kiss, those unbelievably precious moments that even if love has been cruelly taken away linger, written from the pieces of a broken heart, can feel the familiarity of that pain that just refuses to leave. x

paul, the last two lines hold a somewhat melancholic taste, but the piece is completely and utterly beautiful. Romantic nostalgia is incomparable. I envy you this. I know many who can only remember a past love with pain, hatred and anger. Holding onto these precious moments makes life a little more sunny, even if only for the brief instant it holds our heart.

Beautiful memories. So softly and delicately touching, paul.

One of those magical times where you and your imagination both almost get their fill.

Perfect timing for this write. It feels friendly and open as the season. Thanks!

Beautiful poem, Fuzzy, and very tenderly. You did remind me of the summer. By the way, I find your rhyme's a little unusual. It's like chopped off, but nevertheless your words flow smoothly as a stream-let, casting a storm of fine emotions. Interestingly, and something reminds Shakespeare. It's read very easily.
Well done. Take care and my best wishes to you.
Alexa.
