The illusion of time
eludes my mind,
confused, I find
these thoughts of mine,
relentlessly relate to you,
as the reason why
my smile fails
to fade,
my emotions evade
my words,
and my heartbeats
pulsing fast,
are the only measure
of how long has passed.
