Pink and yellow lights blurred and bright,
as orange cream leaks through the clouds,
that shines and spreads from the tops of trees
another day has dawned anew.
Seconds, minutes, hours pass and as
warmth rises to the brim of my heart,
memories surface and smiles unfold,
and the more are my many thoughts of you.

| I really enjoyed this poem. It reminds me of when I am somewhere, and my thoughts drift off to that special person, and it always makes me smile. Such a wonderful feeling, aptly captured. |
