Last night,
You made the fool in me
Last night,
You chose the spool we thread
Outside,
Our lives continue bleeding
Last night
You made secrets worth retrieving
She is a whisper among the thorns
You hear the escaping freeze of night
Didn't glance into the day
Everything loses its preternatural brilliance
I can not become lost in beauty
The terror of words strangles my depth perception
Do you believe you can
Reach a watery grave, alone?
Last time,
feel it all again
Last time,
a lamp unto you my friend
Outside,
It's so hard to keep on breathing
Last night,
Submerged in his great deceiving

A dark passage indeed that contains a haunting tone that is smooth in its delivery. Written cleverly painting pictures through darkness with enough light for the reader to grip onto. I really enjoyed reading this.
