Mother, can mean so many things,
To those around about us,
To me, it can only bring,
Thoughts of love and tenderness.

Someone who cares and tends to needs,
And wipes away our tears,
Showing us the path to lead,
Guiding us through our rocky years.

When we felt lost and began to stray,
She always went the extra mile,
To find us and show us the way,
With patience and a loving smile.

Without mothers, just where would we be?
Showing what each road would have in store,
Who would have made us see,
The things in life worth striving for.

So Mother, I have only love,
And memories dearly shared with thee,
Each day I thank the Lord,
For giving you to me.
