Life lost
Rejected by its host
Unknowingly, unwillingly
Symbol of new love
Scared by the outcome
Quivers in her bed
Life lost
Rejected by its host
Unknowingly, unwillingly
Tear-stained pillows
Lie under head
Trying to decide her fate
Life lost
Rejected by its host
Unknowingly, unwillingly
Pain seers through
Cocoon twisted in agony
Within her heart, she knows
Life lost
Rejected by its host
Unknowingly, unwillingly
A sparkle of hope
Once resided within
Now a distant memory
Life lost
Rejected by its host
Unknowingly, unwillingly
Mental anguish
Losing a light of love
Because of her own fears
Life lost
Rejected by its host
Unknowingly, unwillingly
Conscience invades
“What have you done?”
Soul cries forbidden tears.
Life lost
Rejected by its host
Unknowingly, unwillingly
I lost a little one inside me
I am so young; I know not what to do
I lost a little one inside me
I didn’t know, I didn’t try to.
Life Lost
Rejected by its host
Unknowingly, unwillingly
I am so sorry, my little one
One day I hope you will forgive me
I did not mean to let you go
Life lost
Rejected by its host
Unknowingly, unwillingly
I am so sorry, my little one
I never saw you but I loved you
I knew the moment you were made
And the moment you left me
I am so sorry, my little one
Please forgive me, my love.
