EVIL REMAINS

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Evil is always there in the shadows
Just outside the door
Please dont come in she prays
Go to sleep and evil will go away
The prayer is unheard
Evil remains

First a featherly touch so scary it is
Then with a pull evil begins
She pays to God please throw evil away
But God doesnt answer
And evil remains

They will say she didnt struggle
How wrong they will be
She must try to get out some way
With closed eyes the answer came
Go -go now to the payhouse
Evil cant hurt her there

She is now away in her mind
But evil remains
With thoughts of the playhouse
She goes away
But evil remains

Dont open your eyes or evil will see
And evil is down there
Doing those awful things
The evil remains

As she floats above she can only see the playhouse
If she stays in the playhouse
She may survive
Why, oh why does evil remain

No one will help or love her enough
Once they learn they shove her away
No longer a part of any family
Its all her fault, other children were hurt
Because evil remains

She tells and they blame her
All the shame and torture begins that day
She feels life isnt worth it
She can no longer go to the playhouse
She doesnt want evil there

Evil has died but the damage is done
And evil remains
Evil wont go away it has dirtied her soul
She prays and prays
But EVIL REMAINS

I know about the playhouse. I have my own. From one survivor to another the evil can dissipate.
