Do you know how much I cherish and care for you
DO you know that when I think of you
It always brings me a smile
The path I’ve taken to find you
Has been winding and covered many a mile
Do you know when I see you?
My heart beats a little harder and I feel it kinda leap
It seems that it heals a little
And it gives me a feeling that I wanna keep
Do you know when I hold you?
That I want you to feel secure and shielded from any defeat
That in my arms you can find comfort
And complete and total relief
Do you know what your friend ship?
And love to me really mean
With utmost assurance I know
Upon each together we can completely lean
Do you know how much I appreciate you?
God gave us a blessing in each other that we need
That to the love and comfort we have
I didn’t know is where this is how it would be
Do you know I want protect
And let no bad or evil effect or touch you
Raise above all the harmful things
Bringing you back to happiness that is true
Do you know that I cherish
And Care for you
That I’ll always be here and
No matter what can count on me too.
Do you know that you being you
Truly my life has been bettered by
I want you to know how thankful I am
And show this you I’ll always try
Thank you for being a diamond in the rough
A star in my dark sky
Shinning through to help light my path
Helping me remember I can really Fly
I hope that I have done and do
As much for you as you have for me
I hope that from some of your pain
Our friendship and love has set you free.
