Sitting quietly while you sleep,
Silently alone I weep.
So much to say,
And everyday,
Life, it seems, gets in the way.
And so I wait.
Quietly alone I wait.
Patiently alone I ponder,
And my mind serenely wanders,
Remembrances of days gone by,
While silently alone I cry.
Upon deaf ears my cries do fall,
While silently alone I call,
For my ever faithful friend,
To take the time to help me mend.
My dear, dear friend,
For you I pray,
That all your worry, go away.
And your life, be free of strife.
And move toward happier days.
For you, I wish…
True love to find you.
To complete you,
And release you.
From the loneliness, and distress
Which have bound you since we met.
No more doubt or discontent.
No more secrets or regret.
For you my friend,
One wish I have,
That love fill your days,
And lift your heart,
And give you strength
With which to start
A new life.
