How Can't The World Stop Turnin'?

Raindrops fall from everywhere,
Turnin' the pavements in one dirty flow,
Nothing brings me the happiness
As you said you'd not come back home.
All your words, they're spinnin' in time,
But tell me, why'd you act like a jerk
Since you left me the lonely message on my phone,
Which was sayin' we've gotta break up.

How can't the world stop turnin?
You promised "forever', but it's turned out "maybe"
And you didn't rush at all with sayin' goodbye,
So I thought we've had got along,
Though it was so far, so far from the reality,
Since you've been the one to let this fall apart.
So tell me, how can't the world
Stop turnin'?

I tried to look like kinda soldier girl
In the other people eyes,
But the question existin' "Who do I try foolin' now?"
Cos everything sucks, since you've been gone,
Everything flows, everything goes through changes,
And I got carried away with this dirty stream,
So far away from the best times of my living,
From all of the things that once made me happy.

How can't the world stop turnin?

I know I'm not the one to say,
That every beginning also always has an end,
Cos the life's goin' on, seasons keep changin'
And I watch this, standin' on the pieces
Of the life you've left for me,
But I guess you gotta know,
That if I had just one wish
It would be to see you again, boy.
