I wanted you to know that I couldn’t make it on my own
And now I want you to know that I tried my best
I tried my very Best.
Now I’m frozen in the sunlight that spots glisten on my grave
Dancing in the daylight until moonlight steals the frame
And these comatose roses are drifting out of sleep
They’re meeting lifeless children of which fate had choose to keep
But sleep sound and sleep safe all you dreamers of the dawn
Protected like God’s children who were lost yet still not found
So one day you may tremble and bear witness to the fruit
Where the weight of your decisions dig deeper than the roots
Oh my skin and Scars, My once frozen frame
Bear witness to this purpose, now Hallowed once again
And eternity, this melting pot, this circle of the sun
Come to bind together what can never be undone
