Where do you go when the streetlights fade away
and when you know youve walked astray
where did you get your nack
for spotting shades of gray
When you feel the chill of the darkest wind
and your only light, spent in slight
is gone and so are you
any direction you see
Pupils have a strange way
of dialating when you say
you hate yourself
The empty whispers of a dead man
Your tears hold as much weight
as the beholder sees
but what if the only one who sees them
is you
When does the day dawn
on empty souls
who beckon tears to wet the ground
who draw blood to pass the time
Where do you go when the night passes
and the cuts so deep appear to your eyes
where did you get your nack
for spotting senseless lies
