If your love were a mountain,
with your heart at the peak,
I'd climb to the top
to find what I seek.
If your love were the oceans
with their bottomless depths.
I'd dive down until
I ran out of breath.
And If your love were the sky,
with your heart in the clouds.
I'd sprout wings and fly,
as high as you would allow.
But when your love is right here,
in front of my eyes.
I can't seem to tell you,
Then we say our goodbye's.

Excellent poem. Really enjoyed the ending. This poem speaks such a clear truth, we need to tell those we love how we feel. |
