LostLove

My rigid heart
kept by dry sandy shores,
the waves grow younger
until a still faded pause.
Foriegn beats soon ripple along
the distant aquarium lands,
A mysterious love pulsates
through the tainted sands.
The infinite sea awakes
as do sandy hearts
love courses within grains
mending shallow lonely parts.
A wave ages in time
serinading once dried shores,
footprints find a new home
within miniature ocean floors.
Footprints rest gracefully
beneath mellow ocean lakes,
the sands become loving
immune to all heartbreaks.

There was a certain kind of peacefulness with this one but then when I read the last couple of lines I wasn't sure I understood it. That doesn't mean it's bad...just means I'm not so bright at times. I liked it.
Thank you for an enjoyable read.
