The tender touch of your skin,
The innocense in your laugh,
I hope to teach you right,
To follow the right path.
The sorrowful tears,
The little whimpers of a rash,
My angel grow well,
Do not ever be brash.
Your silly little touch,
Your beautiful little smile,
I wish 18 was forever,
And just a little while.
My angel girl,
May you grow to be strong,
May you always be healthy,
And live extremely long...

As a restless teen, I sometimes forget this is how my parents feel about me. Thanks for the reminder. Excellent work :). |
