I wish I had someone
Who loved me for me.
Who would open the door
And let me through.
Someone who would give me their jacket
When it was cold outside.
If only.

I wish there was someone out there
That would know exactly what to say
To cheer me up.
One person who could make me feel special
When I felt like I was nobody.
If only.

I wish there was someone
Who would hold my hand in public.
Not embarrassed to call me his own.
I wish I could find my true love
So I don't have to deal with all these other scums.
I wish I would fall in love.
If only...
