ANGELS EYES SHINING BRIGHT AS THE MORNING SUN
WITH A SMILE ON HER FACE GREETING EVERY ONE.
ANGELS EYES ARE HURTING WAY DOWN INSIDE,
THE SMILE SHE SHOWS YOU IS FROM HURT PRIDE.
ANGELS EYES SHINE ON BRIGHT AS THE DEW,
SHE IS CRYING BECAUSE SHE HAS LOST YOU.
ANGELS EYES FAILED IN A WORLDLY GAME,
THE LIFE SHE LEADS NOW WILL NEVER BE THE SAME.
ANGELS EYES TRIED SHE WORKED HARD TO STAY,
BUT YOU KNOW HER LOVER LEFT HER TODAY.
ANGELS EYES LOOK AROUND TRYING TO SEE,
IF HER HEART WILL HEAL AGAIN AND HAPPY BE.
ANGELS EYES KEEP SHINING FOR THERE IS A PLACE,
FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO LOVE THAT SMILE ON YOUR FACE.
ANGELS EYES LISTEN THIS IS HOW YOU START,
TO REPLACE ALL THE PIECES OF YOUR BROKEN HEART.
