Little Things

Life is full of confusion for me
Just little things that others can't see
Answers to questions that lie beyond reach
Answers to questions that teachers don't teach

Glue can stick to anything known to man
But why doesn't it stick to the inside of the can?
Moving on from super glue to little lines of red and blue
That flows through the minty paste
We use to brush our teeth with haste
How did they get there? Nobody knows!
But onward my mind just quickly flows
To tackle the problem of toilet rolls
Now toilet rolls, you know I'm right
Are thin sheets of paper wrapped so tight
Now the answer to the question must be in sight
When they wind the tissue so tight
How come the perforated sheets simply don't tear?
Why? Oh why? This is far too much to bear!

As you can see
It's the little things that get to me
That drive me to the edge of insanity
But there's more to come so bear with me

Next can become a hangman's noose
If the knot is not kept loose
That's right! You guessed! It's a simple man's tie
Now just think and please don't lie
A hangman's noose around your neck?
Enough to make anyone a wreck
Ties simply have no purpose at all
Get rid of them all would be my call

I could go on all through the night
About dark things that give me fright
You have seen inside a fractured mind
Beware! You never know what you might find
So heed my warning and heed it well
In life it's the little things that will lead you to hell
