Lonely for the Moment

Contributed by MsJoans on Monday, 15th March 2010 @ 02:30:45 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

When the pale moon rises for you once more
And you face the unforgiving silence again,
I wonder if you remember how you once felt
When you looked into my eyes and found yourself there?

Remember 3 things, Firstly, to always be true to yourself.
Secondly, Remember who I am, and Lastly,
That I love you always, as you are.

You’re just lonely for the moment –
But I’ll never leave you there.
Think of me like I’m with you,
Recall the way you felt,
Summon up the way the room smelt and
How my skin tasted,
And I will be there with you.

You’re just lonely for the moment,
But I’ll never leave you there.

This is a very tender caring poem, can feel you trying to draw somebody back from the dark place they are in right now, and reassuring them that its a passing phase and that you will always be there for them.

A wonderful poem of unconditional caring. I adore the last two lines. So tender and beautiful. If only each of us could have someone in our lives that made us feel appreciated when we are lost.
