Is he yet living?
The man with the gentle touch,
Kind hearted manner
And honorable tongue?
Lately, I fancy him a myth.
That I could find such a soul,
In a world where men lose control
For the Jezabels and other such women?
The answer is unlikely.
Oh, how I wish he existed!
Someone to make me laugh,
To hold me tightly
And love the pieces of myself that even I cannot stand?
Then, oh then!
I would be a lost woman-----
His if he yet lives,
Forever and evermore.

I really enjoy this piece because it is what so many wish for, that one person out there who can deliver so much to make a life better. A write that represents hope and possibility. Uplifting and well written.

| I think alot of women can relate to the yearning and frustration in this,and also the level of sacrificial love they would give in return for finding him. well written |
