I board the train
I'm off to work again
But something feels sad inside of me
Through the cities and the towns
I've had my ups and downs
But still no-one listens to my plea
Paris, Lisbon and Rome
There's still no place like our home
My heart bleeds
I haven't got my needs
I'm wishing that I was where you are
As the days pass by
I'm heading back, I sigh
I'm getting closer now, I'm not far
Berlin, Madrid and Rome
There's still no place like our home
It's where the oceans meet
It's where the stars can sleep
There's no other place that we can call our home
When I'm away it's where I miss
There's no other place that feels like home like this
This is heavenly bliss
That's what we call home

I can relate. We all need some origin, perhaps, something we can turn to and say this is part of me? This is a reflection of who I am and how I live my life?
Home, bittersweet, home. |
