Laying on the Ground, To You I Call
Laying on the ground,
Looking up toward the night,
In emotions I drown,
Lost, Is my will to fight.
So beautiful the stars,
So bright and brilliant,
So enticing are the scars,
So dull and resilient.
I’m now numb,
To this life,
I have no green thumb,
I cause only strife.
Laying on the ground,
Clouds cover the night,
Don’t want to look around,
Lost is my sight.
So dark are the wisps,
So dark and condescending,
So thick is the mist,
So unwanted is this reminiscing.
I’m now crying,
I feel so lost,
I feel like dying,
Is that the cost?
Rain is falling down,
It has a cold bite,
I don’t hear a sound,
Soon I won’t see light.
So cold are the drops,
Reflecting my emotions,
Life is so full of props,
I haven’t a notion.
I don’t want to see,
End it all,
I don’t want to breathe,
With my last breath, to you I call.
