Out of tact, her front is back
thinking that its me she lacks
and I'm too blind
to see it, I smile
Okay, lets hang out for awhile.
Does it take one or twenty two
I lost count after me and you
cause no one mattered like you did
no one mattered like you did
ooooo
it was always
youuu
love and loss are two words
I know the later well
It's what follows all those hollow moments
that make you feel like hell
If anyone out there is listening to me
Love the one that loves you back
maybe then you'll see
ooooo
it was always
youuu
The reality was impossibility
city lights accompany, you and me
fountains fireworks foglights favorite songs
laughing and loving while we sang along
beaches blue eyes back roads blue water
parked at the seawall set up for the slaugher
I never wanted it to end
I never wanted us to end
But all good things come to an end, they say
Long story short, I want you back yesterday
