Remember The Time

Contributed by DoubleS on Wednesday, 10th March 2010 @ 07:20:34 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I come to a time
When my minds out of place,
I see a new world
As my mind is in space.

I look at your face
Run my hand through your hair,
Then I reminisce
The memories we share.

You remember the date
And time we first met,
I looked at your eyes
Not knowing what I'd get.

I'm holding in my arms
The love of my life,
I wouldn't let you go
Not without a fight.

I love you so much
As I still reminisce,
I go back to the time
Of true loves first kiss.

I looked in your eyes
And fell deeply in love,
I thought I was flying
As well as a dove.

The moment that we kissed
I knew what to do,
Do you remember the time
That you said I do.

It was sunny outside
We went to the park,
We stayed until seven
It was just after dark.

I wanted you to stop
To just look at me,
To look in my eyes
As I got on one knee.

I told you this story
And pull out a ring
You looked down and you said
So when's the wedding.

Very romantic. This is a beautiful love story, filled with all the delicate nuances that a heart craves. Just lovely.
