anguished
|
Breathless no more,
I have found my footing.
Shaking with fury
I pull myself from the wreckage;
My eyes burning for vengence.
Unforgivable how ignorant I was!
Your intentions were hardly gentlemenly.
Those tender words spoken----
Lies, all of them.
To think I spoke of Love,
And thought of us tenderly!
How foolish,
To be romanced by a ghost;
A spectre of what could of been,
But never was.
Breathing evermore,
I have exorcised you from my dreams,
Finding my footing----
Washing away the memory of you.

Alright Honestly That was without flaw, i don't 5 star rate very often but this is a poem i would expect to find in a book somewhere. Truly it is grand congratulations i will recommend it to a few girls i know who have gone through this. you give voice to their pain.
