I loved you once
But not anymore
I gave it all up for you
And like so much trash
You through it in my face
You say you hate me
But I don’t believe you
You dragged me down to where I never imagined I’d be
I did things I never thought I’d do
And all the time
It was a game
I thought we had something
But you were laughing in the background

Vicious with passion you can feel the anger. Risking pain that can haunt your soul for time to come and then having that person treat your sacrifice as nothing but a joke. A feeling all too common. Well written.

ouch.
The last line is like a dagger to the heart. Heartbreak is a very humbling experience, but when we feel ridiculed, it can be the most devastating emotion on earth. There is a lot of anger here, yes, but I feel pain as well. A lot of pain. I hope you are in a better place now. :)
