~She softly fades away~

Contributed by shelby on Tuesday, 9th March 2010 @ 09:12:03 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

She softly fades away
with a contusion to her heart.
Melting into puddles
broken by her hurt.

There is the woman
all the world does see.
Then there is another
fading so desperately.

He wrapped her up
in his lunacy
holding her so tight
she could hardly breath.

She softly fades away......

The Heavens cry,
the stars cease to shine.
The world collides
with fractures in her heart.

and she softly fades away.

There is the woman all the world does see, then there is another, very powerful line, then the brokeness, from a strong heart beating to nothing, the lament is in the softness of the mood of the poem, well written

This stirred a lot of thoughts and emotions in me. I think his ass should be kicked and my heart cries for hers. Smile!

Nicely done, Micheller.

Wow, very well written, it is truly a sad painting, the vividness is matched only by the heartfelt pain that is in every line of this poem, thanks for yet another great piece

Gosh, I can't even begin to express the depth of sadness that has befallen me. You've a wonderful gift for exacting emotion from your reader. Or perhaps, its the fact that most know what "she" went through. A very sad thing to have someone hurt you in this way. In any way, really. The human race is hopeless. So much pain and anguish.

Beautiful writing, though. A wonderful piece of melancholy. Thank you for sharing.

Seléne ~
