Against Whom Exactly

Against whom exactly will payment be extracted
For the stage has not been set
With pen in hand judgement has been made
Come on and place your bet

All that has to be done is to say one little word
For as all know; policy is always an open door
And by word of mouth the tongue has left its mark
So now its your turn to finally settle the score

Against whom exactly; the choice is still uncertain
With the path that has been taken what lies ahead is still unknown
So reveal the condemned soul by raising the curtain
And rain down Hell's torment with what has yet to be shown

Amongst a crowd this soul does speak yet goes unheard
And upon the wings of devils and demons through the darkness they do soar
While the fire withers and dies with nothing to reignite it, not even the faintest spark
The silence, oh how deafening it burns straight to the core

Against whom exactly; the damned has been made known
And the verdict to the crowd has been read
So stand and face the jury but the words are silent, theres nothing left to say
For a guilty conscience is the punishment and that is forever in your head.
