The days I think of you
Bring unbearable pain to my chest
Tear fall from my eyes
As your image steals my breath
How to go on
Damn it’s so hard
I reach out to touch you
But forget
You’re not there
Please tell me why you left
Was I not good enough compared to all the rest
Memories of us keep that question in my head
I loved you
You love me
At least that’s what you said
This heart is so broken
Some days I can hardly leave my bed
How could you have been so
Uncaring
To destroy all we had created
Or am I too stupid
To still love you through all this mess
These thoughts run through my mind
On the days I think of you
