Popsicle Valentines

Frozen valentines in cherry orange and grape;
two dozen in gift wrapped art,
were given to me for Valentines Day
but none in the shape of a heart.
As we know, it’s the thought, indeed,
not the height, nor weight nor girth
that makes a gift what it is,
and provides it’s intrinsic worth.

Gifts given in declaration of love without the heart, this keeps you questioning meaning and thought behind a gift well written |
