I promise it�s true

I love you,
There�s nothing I can do,
I love you,
I promise it�s true.

I know you�re a total douche,
But knowledge is of no use,
This is of a matter I can�t choose,
Even though I know I will lose.

Here just for you,
To give you a clue,
I�ll write for you,
A beautiful haiku.

I�ll mail it to you in a letter,
Maybe it will give me some closure,
You�re madly in love with her,
This feeling I have makes me want to burn.

I was the one to walk away,
You never asked me to stay,
On the cold ground I lay,
I�ve lost count of the days.

From you my love,
I have risen above,
I�ve found a new love,
In the Heavens above.

My heart is mending,
My life is no longer ending,
I am no longer depending,
On love you weren�t sending.
