The door is closing but I see the light
why are you closing the door
when it gives us light...

I did as you pleased and raised never a hand
and I was at your beckon call
and I fulfilled your every plan...

When you got mad and started to fight
Id always sit down and beg whats right
but you didnt try to give me a chance
youd just throw your hand up and put on a dance...

So after a year later Ive stayed who I am
but Im tired of being your punching bag
and you treating me like your one night stand...

So now I hear you saying
the door is closing, but I see the light
but its to damn late as I say goodnight...

So stay in the dark as you threatened me again
now Im leaving your ass,
and you dont win...
