Chapter of Hope

Topic: MiscPoems

Silence, so sweet, so sad, love lost, or never had
any at all, sorrow burden, tell me your tale, page
unfold, pain that you hold,Tear drop as ink lay
on each page, words speak to me,be kind tell
me a lie,of life free of my sin,let my eyes read
a chapter of hope,give me a passage,so i can
crawl in,shut reality out, tell me a story of love
so True, yes now please lie to me,hide within
the words,Take me to a world, where peace of
mind resides, please now just tell me a lie, of
sweet life, then let me be, close the cover, let
me then stay, never to ever open again.

~ Let me be in Chapter of Hope~

"give me a passage that I can crawl in."

Sometimes it would be good to be able to crawl into a chapter of a book,
" close the cover, never to ever open again"

but having said that, by being open, we let people read and to also enjoy the book of us and to value us as people, as nice as it would be to hide.

Really felt the pain in this one, well written, speaks of hurt and of wanting the walls to build around to prevent hurt entering again.
'let me be".

I LOVE this poem! it is so true. I feel this way all the time. you have penned these feelings and thoughts so well. my favorate part has to be "be kind tell me a lie, of life free of my sin, let my eyes read a chapter of hope, give me a passage, so i can crawl in, shut reality out, tell me a story of love so true.." eh..na..the whole thing is awsome..my favorate part is the whole thing. it's beautifull through and through.

Sadness wrapped in a warm blanket. This is delicate and beautiful with a hovering darkness. Well written.
